I've never been good at making or maintaining friendships, but I'm getting... slightly better at it....
I am a sucker for self-improvement everything. I am a goal-chaser. I am a destination addict. It's been embedded in me since I was a child.
During my month of reflection, winter break, I was able to find a delightful video titled: "You are not a self-improvement project" by Lynette Adkins
Through this podcast, I expressed thoughts about the concept of gratitude, hard-work, celebration, and a little sprinkle of manifestation.
Join Rachel and I as we reflect on our wonderful Latina Literature class this past semester!
I turned 20!!! Here are 20 things I've learned... In no order...
1. Nothing is black & white
2. Balance has to be constantly worked at (it's not real)
3. My childhood self needs to heal (and it is!)
4. You're not your thing, you're just you, and I'm just me
5. The human body is CRAZY (AWESOME)!
6. I could do more if I wanted to
7. No one cares!
8. School is not that deep, but I still love learning
9. Social Media is the worst thing ever
10. I'm not a jealous person
11. I cannot control every aspect of my life
12. I'm allowed to love a lot of things
13. I don't need to make art for the public
14. I'm not alone
15. Star Wars is the best franchise
16. It's okay to have like 2 best friends
17. Music is the only constant in my life
18. I was probably most happy when I was a vegan (questionable...)
19. I don't have to prove myself to anyone or anything
20. Iss allll meeee babyyyyyy - I matter the most
Bestie Hans needed to do a "creative" project for his class, so we killed two birds with one stone and made a podcast :D
We (mostly he, I'm learning) talk about Greek mythology and their influence on sexuality in Ancient Greece and honestly... today, too.
With open minds, join me and Vince as we talk about our faiths:
Are we predestined, or do we have free will?
Who defines what's good and bad?
How do we deal with challenging faith?
This is a really niche and "no-one-really-cares-about-this" topic, but the evolution of a book and how it functions as a physical entity is just SO interesting to me.
Feel free to listen to me geek out about books
coping mechanism... the body is so cool... be kind 2 yourself...
what does this all lead to???
