Episode #88 - DJ I Rock Jesus & KCA Recap

World reknowed and Godfather of CHH DJ I Rock Jesus (@DJIRockJesus) called into the show and rocked out with us the whole night. He opened up about how humbled he was to be honored at the KCA Awards. He also let us know how he has been a fan of the show for awhile and he was honored to rock with us. DJ I Rock Jesus also knighted Joe B.O.S.S. (@JoeBossRadio) as an official DJ because of what he does as a radio host.

2nd hour, we discussed the Las Vegas Shooting and how the media has not slandered the killer the same way they would if he was African American. We also discussed how #45 went to Las Vegas before going to Puerto Rico, and how he did a horrible job of being there in PR. Prophet Link (@ProphetLink) gave us his “Wisdom On Purpose”. Joe B.O.S.S. gave us the “Invest In Yourself” tip about believing in yourself.

Episode #87 - ft Minister Marcus & Kingdom Choice Awards Pre-Show

CEO of Kingdom Time Media, Minister Marcus came in studio to promote the upcoming Kingdom Choice Awards!  We discussed his passion behind running the show for 8 years, and becoming the Nations number one CHH awards.  Also, we gave away 2 tickets to a fan who called in and was able to name 6 artist who will be featured at the show.  Mr. C from TheYesHour.com came in to cross promote as RiseUp is syndicated on their station.  

Prophet linked gave us his #WisdomOnPurpose which discussed "Wisdom's Extolling!" Joe Boss gave us the #InvestInYourself about "Praying for Your Leaders", which includes President Trump and Lecrae, regardless of your feelings.

CHH Battle Rapper, Th3 Saga (@Th3Saga) called in to discuss his music and the upcoming battle between him and Loso (@Loso_che). We also played a clip from his famous battle with a rapper who claims to be a devil worshipper.  The result being Th3 Saga

Prophet Link rebranded his segment called "Wisdom On Purpose" where he discussed Being Prepared for all situations.  The "Invest In Yourself Tip" discussed the "Seed" of money and how it can either be a blessing or a curse.  The topic of the show was the #NFLBlackout, in which many minorities are boycotting watching the NFL this season.

Episode #85 included a dope interview with CHH Battle Rapper Loso (@Loso_Che. We discussed his new album, “Before I Commit”. Loso informed us about him being Bi-Vocational and works as a Middle School teacher which allows him to minister to youth. Also, we spoke about his upcoming Kingdom Choice Award battle against fellow CHH Battle rapper Th3 Saga (@Th3Saga).

The 2nd hour included “You Should Hear This” by @RandyBazile, and a new segment from @ProphetLink called “Church with Prophet Link”. The “Invest In Yourself” tip was about Rebalancing and Refocusing after a major change in your life. The “Spice in Your LIfe” moment was about making sacrifices to please your significant other.

Episode #84 - New Beginnings

In this episode, we announced several new things going on in Rise Up Worldwide’s realm. First we announced that we will be putting together a public playlist via Spotify each month for listeners to hear. Also, we announced that Gdott resigned from the show. @ProphetLink is now going to be interning with us as a guest host.

We announced the progress of Hurricane Irma, and advised listeners in the Florida area to evacuate. @RandyBazile called in to give us a new song to listen too. @JoeBossRadio’s ‘Invest In Yourself Tip’ was about handling business properly. Lastly, Prophet Link spoke about President Trump’s plan to end the DACA laws which protect children of illegal immigrants.

CHH artist and producer, Kaleb Mitchell called in on the Rise Up Hotline to discuss his new album, “So Help Me God”. We played a few of his tracks and got into detail about his heart behind the name and the music.

Natalie Scott, Founder of Laughing Sarah came into the studio to discuss this new ministry. In short, it deals with the Spiritual and Natural aspects of infertility. We announced her launch party coming up on September 2, which is also her birthday.

In sports, we discussed the Mayweather/Mcconner fight in which Mayweather was the winner. @JoeBossRadio’s Invest in yourself tip discussed “Supporting your Family!”

Episode #81 took an indepth look into the White Supremacy rally that took place in Charlottesville, VA. It was sparked by the upcoming removal of confederate leader, Robert E. Lee’s, statue. Bishop @Fergsongs called in to discuss his reaction, how we can battle this type of injustice, and what we can do in our local communities. .

The 2nd hour consisted of more music and conversations with callers. @Iam_Cking called in to give us his opinion and to remember to be in prayer. @ProphetLink called in to let us know about his decision to step out on faith and walk away from his Job.

On this week's episode of @Riseupworldwide, we had the homie @RQTek in studio. He introduced us to his current joint "Venting" &a his latest single off his new EP "Dreamz". The first hour consisted RQTek's breaking into the game and how he focuses on lyricism. We touched on some of today's hot topics including, Usher, R.Kelly & Bobby Valentino.

@_CKing also chimed in on the Bobby V situation but vented about folks posting on social media and running shows on TV.
