We continue Jesus’ incredible counsel to his disciples in Matthew 10:29-31 as they try to prepare themselves for the scary things that lie ahead for them.

In Matthew 10:21-28 Jesus teaches his disciples WHAT is going to happen in the days, months, years, and perhaps even centuries ahead and then more importantly he tells them WHY it matters that they know these things…

Whatever you do, don’t apply this to your understanding of the Scriptures or of Jesus to your life period.

The Scriptures are full of bits of advice that are specific and contextual that if taken OUT OF CONTEXT end up being BAD ADVICE.
