Inscriptions on satoshis have been added to the U.S. National Vulnerability Database as a security issue. The agreement between Binance and DOJ has been unsealed, with an ex-SEC commenter calling it a “24/7, 365-days-a-year financial colonoscopy.” And that’s not everything!

And let’s talk about decentralized science, which might be where CZ turns his attention in life after Binance.

Today, we look at JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon telling the U.S. Senate that if he were the government, he would shut crypto down — needless to say, the crypto community did not take those comments lightly. We also look at Bitcoin Ordinals going parabolic, but are they at risk of a network fix patching them out of existence?

Bitcoin has seen a lot of green days lately, but is the latest upward trend a “choreographed” move by whales? Whatever the case, Bitcoin futures open interest on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange has soared alongside BTC’s price, and experts are suggesting it isn’t merely the result of ETF and halving hype. All this and much more to get you caught up on in crypto today!

Warren Buffett famously called Bitcoin “rat poison squared,” but yesterday, it pushed Berkshire Hathaway out of the top 10 assets by market cap. Bitcoin’s stellar price performance of late has also been reflected in Robinhood’s crypto trading and El Salvador’s BTC portfolio, which is back in the black!

Bitcoin stole the limelight this weekend as it breached the $40,000 mark, and there’s a lot you need to know about it going into this week. However, plenty happened outside of Bitcoin, too — from North Korean hackers stealing $3 billion in crypto to an exclusive interview with Binance’s new CEO, Richard Teng.

Few spaces, if any, move faster than crypto, and in just 24 hours, there’s already so much to catch up on. FTX is set to sell $873 million of trust assets as part of its continued attempts to make creditors whole, Binance is in hot water with the Philippines SEC, and Twitter (now X) co-founder Jack Dorsey led a funding round for a company looking to decentralize the Bitcoin mining process. And finally, we have the fascinating story of Charlie Shrem, a man who went from a basement to the cover of Forbes — and then to prison!
