Hello everyone, happy Sunday to you all, and welcome to Afritunes Week 170, my name is @rishagamo and I will be singing the cover of “All the Glory” by Glorify worship and Nathaniel Bassey.

Glorify worship is a collective artist know for afro-gospel songs and contemporary worship genres in the Christian Music industry. They are mostly inspired by the likes of Nathaniel Bassey, Dusin Oyekan, Sunmisola Agbebi, Theophilus Sunday and many more. They are known for collaborations with other prominent Gospel artist in which some of which have been listed above. Their music is geared towards bringing listeners closer to God fostering spiritual awakening and revival.

“All the glory” is one of their songs from the album “Experience Vol 11”. Where they featured Nathaniel Bassey. The songs talks about giving God all the glory, being that He alone deserves all glory and that no man on earth should take glory for himself. It also tells us to worship God by lifting up our hands, singing to Him song of worship in adoration, there is none like Him.

The Last Time

"Sunar Yesu" translates to "The Name of Jesus." The lyrics beautifully articulate what this name represents: "The name of Jesus is my inheritance, the name of Jesus is my help, the name of Jesus is my victory, the name of Jesus is a holy name." This holy name has always been constant and true, remaining the same every single time I've called upon it.

This theme makes me reflect on the steadfastness of faith. In a world of constant change, it's comforting to know that some things remain unwavering. The power and significance of the name of Jesus have been a consistent source of strength and comfort for me, just as they were the last time I found solace in them, and as they will be in the future. It’s a timeless truth that offers guidance and hope, regardless of how much time passes or how many "last times" we encounter in our lives.

Chimdi Ochei is a Nigerian Gospel song writer, Music Minister and worship Leader who is known to sing music that always connects his listeners to God. He was influenced by the Christian upbringing he had, his single “Longing of My heart” which was released in the year 2020 was the song that brought him to limelight and he has been connecting believers to God ever since.

The song “you are the reason I Live” is a song that glorifies the Lord. God is the reason for my existence, he is the reason I am alive today, he is the reason I wake up every day, he is the reason behind my salvation and He is the reason I do everything. Sometimes we do somethings only thinking about what people will say always worrying about their opinions. The truth is for as much as you cannot live this live alone and as much as you need others in this journey of life to help you soften whatever challenges you might encounter it is always God to let them know that God is ultimate and He is the reason for all existence.

I wonder sometimes why I do somethings, but at the end of everything I am certain that God is the reason for everything.

Hive music festival week 137 round 2, my name is @rishagamo and I will be singing the cover of “His name is Yahweh” by Holy Drill.

God has many names, He has being called the Ancient of days, I am that I am, Omnipotent and Omnipresent God, Miracle worker, destiny charger, the One Who is the same today, yesterday and forever, El Elohim, Adonai, El Shaddai, El Elyon , Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Shama each of these names with their meanings and origin.

The name Yahweh is a Hebrew name for God which according to small research I conducted means I am the I am which was during God’s encounter with Moses in Exodus 3:14. Meaning self-existence and sovereignty, His ever presence and Faithfulness, He bringing everything that there is into existence speaking everything to life.

The song is a worship song which is to exalt God’s name, according to the writer, from the pages of his heart, he wants his worship to begin and never ending to the God who is the God of all flesh because He is Yahweh (the name encompassing all the characteristics and qualities of God).

Hello and welcome to Afri-tunes week 169, my name is @rishagamo and in this week's concert i will be singing the cover of "Watarana (Yanzun Ne)" by Sir billy.

"Watarana" is a song that was written and sang in the Hausa language, a language that is prominent to the northern people of Nigeria. Watarana simply means someday while “Yanzun Ne” means it is now.

We tend to live or lives forgetting most of the time to take out time to praise and worship God, always busy for him but not too busy to chase after worldly possessions and vanities.

I was tested recently with an illness and I felt like all i needed to do that i have being missing is praising God and keep praising him that i might not have as much time i think i have here on earth and i need to honestly utilize my time here to praise God on a constant.

We should always remember to praise God in our free time or better still, make time to praise and worship God now that we are still living and breathing. We are creatures of worship, one of the reasons God created us is to worship and praise Him, it is part of the purpose of our creation and we should try our possible best to live upto expectations.

“Haske” is a song in the Hausa Language of Nigerian origin, written and presented by Kaestrings a prominent Nigerian Gospel singer and worship leader. Originally known as Kingsley Innocent, born on the 24th of November in the city of Zaria, Kaduna state, Nigeria. His Parents are from Benue state Nigeria, making him Idoma by tribe. He started singing with the children's choir of his church when he was growing up, the Gospel Ministry International (GMI). Progressing to the adult choir.

The song “Haske” meaning Light, is a worship song that glorifies the name of the Lord, it says God You are my light, anywhere You go I will follow You, it is a song that surrenders everything to God, making God our everything. Solomon Lange is a prominent Nigerian Gospel Musician, artist and song writer, born on the 30th of October, 1980 Jos, plateau state. Started singing at the age of 9 in his local choir. He started singing in the year 1997 professionally with the group Kale vision. In 2002, he went solo with his career. He organises the IVoice concert. He sings both in Hausa and English language.

The song “Zuchiya Ta” is a song in both English and Hausa Language, “Zuchiya Ta” meaning My Heart is a song of worship, offering his heart to God as a living sacrifice, the song lyrics talks about how God rescued his soul from darkness to light, and how God’s is never failing.

Through the rain as a phrase means overcoming adversity and persevering through difficult times. We are all aware of the difficulties everyone is facing presently in the world, most especially in my country, we are in a period of difficult times, where poverty is on a steady increase, sufferings everyone, people are not able to afford to eat well, clothe themselves or even have proper shelter.
