The Mets have passed the statistical halfway point of the 2015 season, and now have passed the traditional midpoint, the All Start Break. The Rising Apple crew is going to have a roundtable discussion on Thursday, July 16th at 9 pm. We'll talk about the team's overall first half performance, the pitching, the hitting, the defense, Terry Collins, Sandy Alderson, and much more!
Importantly, we'll delve into what the Mets need to do to remain competitive over the last 73 games, and possibly make a run at the playoffs. Should they acquire a shortstop? Should they platoon Michael Cuddyer? Will Lucas Duda return to form? Will we see David Wright in Queens? WHich, if any, starting pitcher should be made available to get back some offense?
Join me, Rich Sparago, and my fellow Rising Apple writers Mike Lecolant, Sam Maxwell, and maybe a few more for what will be a lively discussion. You can listen live at the link below, or give us a call to be a part of the discussion.
Baseball resumes tomorrow. What better way to get the juices flowing than to join the Rising Apple Report?
Talk to you at 9 pm on July 16th!
