Proposition 36, if approved by voters in November, would increase prison sentences for several property crimes, including organized retail thefts ... would create a new treatment-focused court process for some drug possession crimes ... and could lead to some drug dealers being charged with murder, under certain circumstances.

Representing the "Yes on 36" arguments is Mike Gatto, a former four-term California Assemblymember.

Representing the "No on 36" side is Shervin Aazami, he's policy manager at the nonprofit group, Initiate Justice Action
