Rival Radio: A Ridiculous Sports Show With Danny episodes

  • The MLB Is Just Kickball With Celebrities

On the symmetry edition of Rival Radio, where Danny looks to avoid the podcasting sophomore slump in the second episode of his podcast's second season, Danny gives out ideas of how to make America's 4 most popular sports leagues more interesting. He does this by giving the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL at least one new rule each that would make their respective sports more idiotic and confusing, and in turn, more entertaining and perhaps even more profitable. If all of this comes to fruition, get used to seeing halftime shows during every NFL commercial break, celebrities constantly playing baseball, and NBA players being forced to make the craziest trick shots ever because free throws weren't sufficient enough.

In addition, the only other thing Danny could even bother to talk about this episode was the NFL scores, once again. He reads through most of the games that were played this past Sunday and simply states who won the game and absolutely nothing else. If nothing else, it's the least biased form of NFL coverage that assures every team gets the amount of attention they actually deserve: minimal.

  • Which Rivalry In Sports Is The Best According To Music Critics?

Rivalries are a big part of how enjoyable sports are, but would a pretentious music critic think the same thing. In this episode of Rival Radio, I decided to get the answer to this myself by pretending to be a music critic that knows nothing about sports whose job is to weigh in on some of the biggest rivalries in sports. In addition, I discuss the current state of sports video games, why the existence of sports itself is a good thing, and the continent of Antarctica
