All sides are waiting for God to demonstrate his power and deliver as they meet yet another challenge entering the promised land. 

Will Joshua be the leader who Israel is glad to be following? 

Will God show up and move them forward or not?

What would you say is the most courageous thing you have ever done in your life?

I am willing to bet many of us have a lot of guts -- in a good way to get through tough things in life. 

So did the people of Israel!

When was the last time you heard someone use the word mercy?

I think you will probably agree that this word is seldom used and if so, it is in some sort of competitive game among friends where someone is losing badly. 

You and I are more likely to find ourselves more commonly using the words kindness or compassion.
