Darrell kicks off our "I Believe in God, But..." series talking about how we need to really get to know God to build our relationship with Him.

Main Scripture: Titus 1:6, John 2: 1-4, Matthew 7:21-23, Hebrews 5:11 - 6:3, Psalm 23

 If you are a follower of Jesus, you're not just a follower.  To be a disciple of Jesus is to be a discipler.  In other words, Jesus' disciples are now called to disciple others.

Main Scripture:  Matthew 28:16-20

 It's great if we have unchurched friends; however, do we ever get around to sharing our Christian faith with them?  This message challenges us in this regard, and provides a simple template to assist believers in this responsibility.

Main Scripture:  Matthew 10:32-33

This message kicks off our "Great Neighbourhood Food Drive" (our goal is to raise in excess of 8,000 pounds of food for our hungry neighbours in the City of Cambridge).  Feeding the hungry and meeting others' needs is the kind of worship that God accepts.

 

We need to look for what unites us to our neighbours, versus what separates us from. Jesus was a master when it came to this as is demonstrated in today's Scripture passage.

Main Scripture:  John 4:1-26 & 39-42

Paul calls us to a lifestyle that includes prayer; that is, prayer in, and for, all things.  This would include prayer for our neighbours and for the needs of whatever community we live in.  How in touch are you with the needs of your neighbours – be they actual neighbours, or classmates, or workmates?
