He was not offering an invitation to a destination, rather it was an invitation to a relationship with a Person who would radically change one’s way of life. As we study the life of Jesus, we find that his life was all about relationships. First, his relationship with the Father, second, His relationship with his disciples, and third, His relationship with the people who didn’t know God at all. During the last two millennia, empires have risen and fallen, history has ebbed and flowed, leaders have come and gone but His Church moves forward. In Church 2.0, we’ll look back at the unchanging truths of how it all began as we look ahead to what God is doing now in our changing world.

“From the Start” is an overview of the major stories and themes in the first book of the Bible, Genesis. This is the story of God creating and bringing order and function into the earth, the rebellion of humanity against divine authority, and God’s unfolding plan to restore creation and humankind to his original purposes through grace and faith.
