This week, we continue in our Journey through 1 Peter with another challenging message. This time we'll dig into submission as laid out in 1 Peter 3:1-12. In difficult passages like these, don’t forget God wants your marriage to thrive. That is why Peter kindly shares a few guidelines for how we can tap into the beauty God intended for you. Not just in marriage, but in all areas of life, God is forming in you the characteracteristics of Christ. Be compassionate and humble with one another.

Children are not just about making parents glad. Children are created by God and brought into the world for the sake of God's purposes in the world. As a mom, women do vital work in and for the kingdom of God.

This week our passage in 1 Peter 2:13-22 is very timely for us. "Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human authority: whether to the emperor, as the supreme authority, or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right. For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people." (1 Peter 2:13-15)
