Jordan asks us the question: "Who is Jesus to you?" We pray and sing, "Yours is the Kingdom. Yours is the power. Yours is the glory forever and ever." But have we allowed His Kingdom to reign within our hearts and minds? When we see Jesus at work, like the people in the Book of Mark, we ask, "What is this?" That question is the start of a dialogue Jesus wants to have with us to reveal Himself to us. We have a choice to dialogue with Jesus or accuse Him. Don't let your "What is this?" become a "You did this!" Mark 2:13-3:6. Mark 1:14-15. Mark 1:26-27. Colossians 1:15-18.

Looking at the story of the four friends who lower their paralytic friend through the roof where Jesus is meeting, we see, once again, how Jesus sees our hearts and offers what our hearts need -- even when we don't perceive or understand what that is. Mark 2:1-12. John 9:1-3. Leviticus 24:16. Luke 5:17. Jeremiah 17:9-10.

We can get caught up in the "things" that Jesus can do, like miracles and signs, but Jesus understood seeking those things can be obstacles to our ability to meet and know Him. Mark 1:21-45. Psalm 139:1-18. 1 John 4:8. Exodus 16:1-21. John 6:25-35.

Jesus returns to Galilee from the wilderness and calls the first disciples. What do we do when Jesus enters our lives? Do we arrest Him and anything connected to Him? Or do we follow Him and willingly receive what He wants to do in and through us? Mark 1:14-20. John 16:5-15.
