Because of those who have been faithful, we are more faithful.Run with endurance = persistence They only way we can be persistent is to keep our focus on Christ.  He is the one who birthed our faith (by His own death), and He is the only one who can perfect our faith (through the Holy Spirit).It seems that our faith and faithfulness will inspire future generations not to fall but to carry on (become strong).  Faith brings more faith which leads to bigger and bolder faith… and it has continued and will continue.

Our good works

(sacrifices) will never take away our sins. Nothing we can do will earn us our

faith.Notice we are made

perfect because of Christ’s shed blood. 

It’s all about Him.  We are

perfect in God’s sight because Christ was the perfect sacrifice.  What I can’t do Jesus did. Once for all.But we are all still

“works in progress” (who are being made holy). Jesus’ once for all work isn’t

negated because I sin, fail, or fall.  But

as we have seen in earlier parables growth, fruit, etc. are outward signs of an

inward change.
