We all carry things from our past that can shape the way we see ourselves and our future. The woman Jesus meets at the well knew what that felt like. But Jesus saw more to her story than what had already happened. What happens when Jesus steps into the parts of our story we’d rather avoid?

We all have a story. The question is whether we recognize how our story fits into something much bigger than ourselves. Nicodemus had questions, doubts, and a growing sense that something was different about Jesus. His story invites us to consider what God might be doing in the middle of our own.

Sometimes we can become so focused on doing things for Jesus that we slowly lose sight of our relationship with Him. The church in Ephesus had not stopped working, but somewhere along the way, their love for Jesus had grown cold. Jesus invites us to recognize when we’ve drifted, turn back, and return to the relationship we had at first.

What does spiritual warfare actually look like? Ephesians 6 reminds us that our enemy is not other people, but spiritual forces of evil. The armor of God gives us what we need to stand firm and remain connected to God through prayer.

What does it really look like to put others before yourself? In Ephesians 5:21–6:4, Paul challenges us to approach our relationships with humility, love, and a willingness to serve others out of reverence for Christ.

Following Jesus was never meant to be about behavior management. Real change begins much deeper than that. We're often tempted by cheap imitations of the life we were created for, believing they'll satisfy what only God can. But Jesus invites us not to just avoid the wrong things, but become who we were created to be.

The church was never meant to be a place we attend, it was always meant to be a people we belong to. As Paul begins the second half of Ephesians, the focus shifts from who we are in Christ to how we're called to live. What does it look like to pursue unity, embrace the unique role God has given each of us, and become the body of Christ together? When every person does their part, the church reflects Jesus to the world.

God’s plan has always been bigger than we can see. Even in the middle of hardship, Paul points us to the power of God at work within us. A power that strengthens our hearts, roots us in Christ’s love, and reminds us that God is able to do far more than we could ever ask or imagine.

From the beginning, the church was made up of people from very different backgrounds. Paul's words in Ephesians 2 remind us that Jesus brought them together, replacing division with unity and turning strangers into one community.

If we're saved by grace and not by our works, why do good works even matter? The answer is that grace changes us. We could never earn our salvation, but when Jesus transforms our lives, it changes the way we live.
