The Christmas story is the greatest story ever told, but over the years it almost becomes too familiar. This Christmas, let’s allow the Christmas story to awaken us to the things that God has for us and see this story in a new and powerful way.

In America, it’s easy to spend all that we have on just us and our purposes, but God wants us to be generous toward others and His kingdom. How can we do that in a world that pushes us to only think about ourselves?

Jesus said “You cannot serve both God and money.” He knew how much money would pull at our hearts and distract us from Him. If we want God to be King of our hearts, then He also needs to be King over our finances.

There are so many things in life competing for your attention, but God doesn’t just want to be part of your life, he wants your whole heart! 

As Christians, we believe that praying is important but we tend to get too busy to ACTUALLY pray. Let’s be the Body of Christ and pray for the people and things the Bible teaches us to.

God created his church to complete his mission and love the world, but the church is so much more than something we go to, the church is His people. He desires us to be united in all that we do so we can change a broken world.

One of the biggest things that keeps us from moving forward with God is being offended. God’s kingdom cannot multiple if we are divided with one another.
