In the space between what happens to us and how we respond, is the ability to choose how we will respond. Will we choose to focus on the negative or look for God’s goodness in every situation?
In Romans 8, Paul tells us there is bad news and good news. The bad news? We will have trouble in our lives. The good news? This life is temporary and we will spend eternity—forever—with Jesus, and no one or thing can take that from us!
Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” God has a plan to use everything in your life to help grow you spiritually—the positive, negative, and even your sin. This only happens when you humbly turn to him in all things.

Just as Jesus was brought from death to life, we are also brought to life with him! Today we celebrate what Jesus’ resurrection has done for us!
Jesus paid it all for you and took your place. Take time to reflect on the weight of your sin that he bore on the cross.
If we view suffering in our life as an opportunity for God to move, then we also allow suffering to strengthen our faith.
When God is our goal, suffering in our life can propel us to know Him in a deeper way!
God is a global God with a global heart, and Jesus gave a global mission. How should we respond to God’s heart and His mission?
Some areas of the world have no opportunity to hear the good news of Jesus. That means there is no Bible, no church, and no one to tell them. God wants us to partner with Him by praying and begin to speak for Him, so that all would know His love for them!
