40 days after His resurrection, Jesus ascended into heaven, after leaving His followers with left his followers with this instruction: “Stay in Jerusalem until you have been clothed with power from on high.”  10 days later, during the feast of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit moved on His followers., and empowered by the Holy Spirit, they changed the world!  The Holy Spirit is moving today… Are you ready to change the world?

In the days following His resurrection, Jesus gave His disciples instructions: Go into the whole world and proclaim the good news!  Our study of the book Acts will examine how his followers, empowered by the Holy Spirit, changed the world! 

After Jesus’ crucifixion, his disciples were thrown into confusion, wondering “Where do we go from here?”  After His resurrection,  He appeared to them saying ““Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you,” and “Receive the Holy Spirit. “ With these words, he gave them both a mission, and the power to overcome their doubts. The results changed the world forever!

2000 years ago an innocent man was sentenced to death on trumped up charges. If the story had ended there, it would have been a tragedy that no one would remember. But it didn’t end there... 3 days later, Jesus rose from the grave, and His Resurrection changed everything!
