Loved it! Fast-paced

Loved it! Fast-paced, plenty of ghosts/spirits haunting the old house -- if only they had asked the children! Don't read it before bedtime, it'll chase you too.

I really like this author's characters, very vivid and fresh. The farmhouse setting is eerie and well-drawn, I don't want to spoil the ending. Bravo!

While I enjoyed the first two

I have read all three of Beverly's novels. While I enjoyed the first two, this one was absolutely the best. I am always disappointed when I figure out the "who done it" too early in the book. That did not happen with River's Edge!
