Bible study. From Strong s Concordance: psalms 32:11, psalms 35:27, psalms 27:6, Luke 10:17, Romans 5:11. Points for meditation and reflection: Joy springs out of strength, out of victory over a battle, out of the gift of attonement and the ease of the victory over sin and evil. Joy destroys barriers, the barriers of our limited mindsets, it helps us see things differently, in a new light. Joy breaks out where mental problems were, where anxiety, depression or others were. Joy overcomes, inexplicably, freely, wellcoming and welcomed, bursting out and darkness cannot stand in its place or its presence. The Joy of the Lord comes from spending time in his presence, in his secret place, and letting him shape us, shape our mindsets. Resilience is part of joy, laughing despite problems, in the face of problems. Remaining light, like a ray of light, but also as a feather, does not give darkness a toehold. Peace comes hand in hand with joy: peace of knowing your identity clearly, peace of knowing what Jesus has done and what he is doing in our lives.
