At the end of their lives, many people look back and want to put their relationships right before they die. In Genesis 50, Joseph restores his relationship with his brothers and instead of repaying their evil, he gives them forgiveness and grace. We are challenged to reflect on how we are recipients of forgiveness and grace from God, and how we can give grace to those in our life.

You were created to be a worshipping being - you were made to love and orient your heart and life around something. The question is not ​whether​ you will worship, but ​what​ you will worship, because you become like what you worship. Worship can either ruin or restore the image of God in us, so we must fix our eyes on Jesus and orient our lives around him in worship.

Have you ever felt powerless to change things in your life? In Philippians 3:10-11, Paul talks about knowing the immense power of the resurrection. In this message, we learn how Christians have access to the same power that raised Jesus from the grave. Through an intimate relationship with God we can experience this power when we align ourselves with God’s purpose in the world.

Most people come to Jesus hoping for life - but in John 12:20-26, Jesus suggests that death comes before life. In this message, we see how Jesus was not only the Seed that died to bring us life, but He is also the good Gardener who works the soil of our lives to make new life.

All of us have the opportunity to speak into other people’s lives. In this message from Genesis 49, Jacob is blessing his sons, some positively and some negatively. From these ancient words and prophetic truths, we learn principles that apply directly to our modern lives. We realize our choices have consequences in this life and the next.

In difficult times, we worry and stumble wondering where is God, why would He allow this to happen, and how will this ever work out for my good? In Genesis 48 as Jacob blesses Joseph with firstborn status, Jacob recalls how God has providentially worked in all the situations of his life. One day, we’ll get to look back and see how God keeps His promises both to believers and unbelievers. But we don’t want to look back at life and say, “If only I would have known!” We can know! God has gone to great lengths to show us in His word.

We are all desperate for an identity - but where do we find our identity? In this message, we see that we are created in the image of God and meant to find our identity primarily in God as his representatives. We see this in the contrast between the tower of Babel (ch. 11) and the call of Abram (ch. 12). One is humanity trying to make their way to God to make their own identity/name, where the other is God coming down to us to give us an identity/name.

There’s no better, safer, more satisfying place than to be in the center of God’s will. So how do you know you are listening to God’s voice and not a substitute? What is God doing in Jacob’s life as he moves his family to Egypt, away from the promised land of Canaan? There are many important spiritual lessons in this message. Enjoy, as we learn to listen to God’s voice, do what He tells us to do, and rest in the providence of God.

God designed our lives to be full of relationships. They are precious and they are fragile. Joseph's brothers return to Egypt to find they must answer to the brother they sold into slavery. In this message, we see the godly way to handle relational problems, both as the offender and as the one offended. Is God is prompting you to do something towards reconciling a relationship in your life? We pray the lessons in this message equip you.
