Put together, they give us a total picture;

Separated, they portray specific aspect of Christ that each author has majored on,

Matthew, Jesus Christ is presented in deity as a King of the Jews

Mark, in humanity as a suffering servant;

Luke, in humanity as a Son of Man;

John, in deity as Son of God in the flesh.
