Key Verses: Hebrews 4:12-13
The Word of God is a scalpel and a sword.

As a scalpel it corrects, trains, rebukes, and equips us.

As a sword it is used to defend our faith and attack falsehood.

A soldier without a weapon is a casualty.

A soldier inexperienced in using a weapon is also a casualty.

We are in spiritual warfare and need to be proficient in using the Sword of the Spirit.

The 3 'Rests' of God:

1. The Rest from Creation.
2. The Rest for the Israelites in the Promised Land.
3. The Rest for the Believers in Heaven.

Jesus Christ is our sabbath day rest!

The 3 'Rests' of the Christian:

1. Rest from Salavation by Works.
2. Rest from perfection by Works.3. Rest from mortality and falleness.

RESTING IN CHRIST means you cease striving and instead rely fully ON HIM.

Are you resting in Christ?

For your Christianity?

For your Christlikeness?
