Romans 2:1-16

'The Righteous Judge'

1.We are unqualified to judge because:

a. We don't meet the standards.b. We are partial towards ourselves.c. We don't know the full story.d. We haven't been asked to judge.
2. God is right to judge because:a. He meets and sets the criteria.b. He is impartial. (Rom 2:11, Duet 10:17)c. He knows all our secrets.
3. Where does that leave us?Group A (v7,10) Is this you?Persevere in doing good, seek for glory, honour and immortality.The Reward is: Eternal life, glory, honour and peace.
Group B (v5, 8-9) Is this you?Have a stubborn or unrepentant  heart, are self-seeking, reject the truth, obey unrighteousness.The Reward is: Wrath, judgement, indignation, tribulation, distress
a. We are totally without excuse. (v3)b. We are totally reliant on His kindness, grace and mercy (v4)c. We should be totally repentant. (v4)
