Trevor considers the second Beatitude and asks the questions “What do we hear when we hear this verse? What is it that we mourn?”

This week Dan unpacks the first Beatitude: “Blessed are the Poor in Spirit for Theirs is the Kingdom of God”. We look at what the word “Blessed” actually means and then consider who are the poor in spirit that Matthew is talking about in his gospel.

Sunday was the beginning of a new era for Community Church. Trevor and Alison who have served the church in leadership for over 25 years, handed the mantel on to Dan Lush. Richard and Judith Anniss commissioned Dan as he takes the church onwards.

At our ALL IN gathering Sara looked at The Parable of the Lost Coin and encouraged us that Jesus will always come looking for us and when he finds us he will make us shiny and new.
