What may appear to be defeat is often the path to victory in God’s plan, and those who walk with Him can rejoice with assurance, knowing that He brings triumph out of trial and is always worthy of praise.

We live in a world of many gods, but there is only one true and living God. Our God is the true God. He says of Himself, "I am God, and there is none else." He has told us that we can have assurance of eternal life. He is the true God who hears and answers prayer. Let us love Him, serve Him, and give Him His rightful place in life.

Psalm 22

The cross reveals the full weight of sin and the depth of Christ’s sacrifice, showing that redemption was not a light or symbolic act but the real outpouring of God’s judgment upon the sinless Son. He endured abandonment, rejection, and intense suffering in both body and soul so that sinners could be brought near and made righteous. What appeared to be defeat was in truth the pathway to victory, as His suffering gave way to triumph, securing salvation and establishing Him as the risen King who is worthy of worship, obedience, and proclamation to every generation.

John 10:31-42

Everything rests on recognizing who Jesus truly is, because if He is not God, He cannot save. His words, His works, and the testimony surrounding Him all point to one clear truth that demands a response. Some reject Him despite overwhelming evidence, while others believe and find life. The difference is not in the proof given but in the heart that receives it, because eternal hope is found only in acknowledging Him for who He is and trusting Him fully.

God's words are greater than man's words. God's words are more convicting, have more authority, and are clearer than man's words. God's witness is greater than man's witness. As we read in 1 John 5:1-12, we find the statement in verse nine, "the witness of God is greater." This is the divine record versus man's record. The witness of God is greater!

Amid countless voices that compete for attention, true life and security are found in recognizing and following the voice of Christ. Those who belong to Him respond because they know Him, not merely with outward agreement but with a living connection that cannot be mistaken. Unbelief persists not because truth is hidden but because the heart refuses it, while those who receive His voice are given lasting life and are held securely by His power.

John 9:1-7

Human suffering is often misunderstood as something to explain or assign blame, but in God’s hands it becomes a setting for His power and purpose to be revealed. What appears to be a lifelong limitation can be part of a greater design where Christ makes Himself known. He alone brings true light, opening not only physical eyes but spiritual understanding, and calls for a response of faith and obedience. In every hardship, the greater question is not why it happened, but how God will use it to reveal His glory and draw hearts to Himself.

God's greatest demonstration of love is Calvary. If you want to know what God is like, look at the cross. If you have an argument with something God has done, and you think the Lord has mistreated people or withheld mercy when He could have given mercy, then look at the cross. The Lord Jesus Christ suffered and bled and died for the vilest of us. This is the love of God. The height of divine glory and love is seen at Calvary.
