Cultivate Your World | 5/25/25
📖 Romans 5:8
🗓️ Part of the "Christ’s Church" sermon series

At Riverview Christian, our mission is simple but bold: "In to heal. Out to love." In this message, Cultivate Your World, we explore the second half of that mission—what it means to be sent out to love.

Drawing from Romans 5:8, we see how God's love reached us at our worst—and how that same love calls and equips us to love others in their mess. Jesus didn’t wait for us to get it right. He moved toward us in grace. Now, as His church, we are called to do the same.

🌍 Where has God placed you?
🤝 Who has He called you to love?
🌱 How can you cultivate the world around you with the love of Christ?

This sermon challenges us not just to attend church, but to be the church—to live out God's love in real, tangible ways in our homes, workplaces, neighborhoods, and beyond.

Christ’s Church: Would You Like To Be Healed? | 05/18/25
📖 Psalm 147:3

Psalm 147:3 reminds us that God “heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” In John 5, Jesus meets a paralyzed man who has been waiting 38 years and asks a startling question: “Do you want to be healed?”

In this message we explore:
- Why Jesus begins healing with a question, not a command
- The difference between wishful thinking and faith-filled obedience
- How Christ’s invitation extends to every wound—physical, emotional, and spiritual
- Practical steps to receive and respond to His healing today

Whether you’re carrying long-standing pain or walking with someone who is, this sermon will encourage you to look to Christ, the great Healer, and to become a community that lifts mats together.
