The bonus for the purchase of an eco-friendly vehicle is a leading measure in a policy introduced by the Monegasque government in 1994. Thanks to this incentive, Monegasque cars now comprise of almost 15% of eco-friendly vehicles , 48% of which are electric.
From 26th June 2023, this scheme has been updated to support the purchase of the most eco-friendly vehicles by both private individuals and businesses.
For many two-wheel vehicles in the principality, the government is also encouraging the purchase of electric vehicles, by increasing the grant to 40% of the price of the vehicle, including VAT and excluding options, up to a maximum of €4,500.
Finally, those purchasing electric bikes benefit from a flat-rate grant of €400, provided the purchase is made from a retailer located within the European Union and is delivered in Monaco. If delivery cannot be made in the principality, the buyer will be required to provide proof. This incentive is open to all applicants for help to buy vehicles ordered from 26 June 2023 onwards, subject to the presentation of a purchase order.

F(ê)aites de la danse is a collaboration between Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo, the Government of Monaco and Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer. Conceptualized and directed by Jean-Christophe Maillot, Choreographer and Director of Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo, this free event is a celebration of dance, which transforms the Casino square and terraces into a huge open-air theatre for 24 hours, where professionals and amateurs mingle to the rhythm of a wide variety of dances and music.
Over 250 dancers and artists will be sharing their love of dance with the public on the 8th and 9th of July. The program includes a dance marathon, an open-air dance hall, a giant ballet barre, introductory workshops in world dances, flash mobs, choreographic performances, an open-air disco, orchestras, ballroom dancing, inclusive dancing and, on Sunday, an all-new detox morning.
