Making an income by selling t-shirts in the Amazon marketplace is real. In terms of logistics, it's pretty straightforward with a business model called Merch by Amazon where you upload your design for the shirt, and Amazon will supply, store, and distribute it upon a transaction.
This does sound easy though right? But it's not because you have to make designs that the market will like. The way to do that is to find very narrow niches that will make them want to buy your shirts.
