I’ve started hitting record every time I get onto the decks, cos some of my post-pub crate digs have been pretty good. I thought it might be fun to share some of them.

This one’s a late night wander through the tracks I’d bought earlier in the day. And I bought some worldies! Normally, I’d rearrange stuff after my first play through, but I like the up-and-down on this one so it’s a keeper.

I think I did three mixes for them that summer, and it’s probably the point that the residency started to find its sound.

I loved that really cleanly produced sound, despite it not really being particularly dance floor friendly. Good to stroke a chin to, tho.

A post-party, 4am, whiskey and bifta come down mix. A few chin-strokers and a couple of head bobbers. Enjoy!

Some lovely dark-tinged, vocal progressive house in here. Soma Soul’s “When I Was Lost” has been on hard repeat since I bought it.
