RMIT FactLab director Russell Skelton tells Liam Bartlett's 6PR Mornings program Meta (formerly Facebook) are negotiating a sum of money to RMIT’s FactLab, an organisation dedicated to debunking and warning the public about online misinformation.

He says the funding will help decipher fake and improper information relevant to coverage of broad events like the federal election.
