Passionate conservationist Nicola Toki and Jesse talk critter of the week. This week it is the green hydra. This bright green, stinging, tentacled predator is immortal, swallows live prey whole, is closely related to jellyfish…and is probably lurking in your local stream. Luckily, it's less than a centimetre long. It reminds Nicola of the wee guy (her research tells her it's a bow truckle) that hangs out in Newt Schamander's pocket in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016).
