Let's talk netball. It's been the number one sport for women and girls in this country for more than a century. The Silver Ferns just won the gold-medal at the Commonwealth Games But we can't seem to get the domestic league firing .. which has led to very real concerns about not having a domestic competition in 2027. RNZ reported this week that a proposed netball league backed by Anna Mowbray and Ali Williams could be up and running as early as next year, after the high-profile couple put forward a new proposal to Netball New Zealand to fast-track the establishment of a privately-owned franchise competition. To discuss the state of netball and where to from here, Jesse is joined by sports journalist and founding editor of LockerRoom, Suzanne McFadden.
