British singer-songwriter Beth Orton has just recorded her album Kidsticks. It's an album that sees her collaborating with an interesting line up of Indie musicians and features Beth playing synths and keyboards with barely an acoustic guitar to be heard. Over her career, the BRIT award winner has released seven albums and captivated audiences worldwide with her song writing and distinctive vocals. For Music 101 Trevor Reekie talks to Beth Orton about the journey she embarked upon to make this album.
