The church in Thessalonica was known for its commitment to one another, to non-believers, and to Christ. 

Nate and Brayden look at 1 Thessalonians 2:1-2! They discuss relational ministry, how its slow burn is more fruitful than the explosion of most church models. They also share stories of their own failures in ministry, and how they have learned to persevere as a result. 

Yesterday, I chickened out due to my fear of the Titan. In 1 Thessalonians 1:9-10, we read about something much greater than the Titan: the wrath of God. 

Faith isn't inaction. Faith leads us to take the next step.

Today we look at 1 Thessalonians 1:1-4, focusing on how our identities should be in Christ and how faith, love, and hope show themselves in our lives. 

If you want attention, be the loudest in the room.

If you want to be like Jesus, be the lowest in the room. 

Throughout my life, I've struggled with courage. Thankfully I have a God who gives me strength.
