Logan Paul shattered trading-card records after selling his 1998 Japanese Pikachu Illustrator — graded PSA Gem Mint 10 — for over $16.4 million. It is the only copy of its kind to receive a PSA 10, with 52 others graded lower. Beckett graded five similar cards, none higher than Mint 9.

On Feb. 16, 2026, X went down for thousands of users across the U.S. and U.K., with issues beginning around 8 a.m. EST. Downdetector showed nearly 43,000 reports, over 40,000 from the U.S., with 53% citing app-related problems.
This marks the third outage of the year following disruptions on Jan. 13 and Jan. 16. Cloudflare activity spiked during the outage and later stated the issue had been identified and a fix implemented. Service largely returned within about an hour.
The disruption continues a pattern of instability since Elon Musk’s takeover, including prior claims of cyberattacks and infrastructure-related interruptions.

CHINA OPENS ITS DOORS TO CANADA
Beginning Feb. 17, 2026, China will allow British and Canadian citizens to enter visa-free for up to 30 days, expanding its unilateral exemption program to 79 countries.
The move follows diplomatic outreach by Prime Ministers Keir Starmer and Mark Carney and is part of China’s broader post-COVID reopening strategy. The exemption covers tourism, business, exchanges, and family visits.
China has steadily expanded visa-free access since November 2023, reporting over 30 million visa-free entries in 2025, nearly a 50% increase from 2024. However, the policy is currently time-limited and does not extend full visa-free access to U.S. nationals.
