Welcome to your Road to Now, a podcast column by me, Jim Csek.

In this episode, myself and coworker Kent Molgat, welcome Scott Butler; president of Highstreet Ventures that staff over 50 people in development, construction and property management. 

Scott has a clear vision for Highstreet Ventures, with Net Zero energy being a 2024 vision. He also leads us through the industry and how it's changed through markets, financing and life events such as Covid-19.

Jules Galloway owner of several businesses in Kelowna shares her Road to Now. Born and raised in the UK and then off to South Africa as a teenager for four years, before meeting a Kelowna representative that convinced her to move to Canada and more specifically Kelowna.

Ryan Kononoff started on his passion for computers and technology back in grade 10. His path was just building and building on his knowledge and experience before starting his shift to entrepreneur.

There are not too many people that can claim to be a 4th generation family in Kelowna. Christina Aaron is one such person. Her Grandmother, mother, herself and now her children all born here in Kelowna.

She not only experienced the fires in Kelowna, she was living in Fort McMurray when the forest fire ravaged that city.

It's not often you get to work side by side with your partner as well as raise a family. Jessica and Andy Schlamp get to do that and do what they love to do by looking through a lens, capturing moments and telling stories through their photography business.

George Sanders credits boxing for not only saving his life, but helping him focus on outcomes. George is masters world champion in boxing and has been part of many wins in the resource sector.

Larry Gray is happy to be the man behind the woman, holding the coat and being a supportive partner.

Larry has been involved in many of the campaigns that shaped the political landscape of the Central Okanagan.
