Satan will set up roadblocks to your spiritual maturity. “The Holy Spirit says in the latter times some may depart from the faith and give heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons speaking lies in hypocrisy” (1 Tim 4:1-5). Religion substitutes false doctrine for truth and sets up a system of works and rituals to replace the protocol plan of God. False teachers can only be detected through having wisdom and discernment from learning the Word of God. Without having the ability to discern the truth from the lies, you will fall victim to it. “Stop being double-minded” (James 4:8).
