About Karla Parra:
Karla is a life and career coach, professional speaker, and full-time nomad. As a former management consulting leader, she's dedicated to empowering people in the workplace to push past fear, take action that serves their purpose and mission, and ultimately, build joyful careers and lives.
Karla was born in Mexico and raised in a bicultural (Mexican-American) family, living on all three Mexican coasts and in seven different cities. After attending college in the U.S. and working in corporate America for 12 years, in 2019, Karla returned to her adventurous roots.
Today, Karla runs her coaching and speaking company, www.thejoyfulcareer.com, while traveling in an 84-square-foot camper across the United States and Mexico with her husband, Noah, and two dogs, Brisket and Lolis. She's also a nomadic yoga teacher and co-host of "Successful: The Podcast", a show featuring the stories of women who are redefining and pursuing "success" on their own terms.
