There comes a point when the wilderness has done what God allowed it to do.
It stripped us. It humbled us. It exposed what could not come with us. It taught us to stop building from striving, fear, comparison, and survival. But the wilderness was never meant to become our permanent address.
In this episode, we are talking about what it means to leave the wilderness and step into the calling God has placed on our business, writing, marketing, message, and ministry.
Because many of us are not waiting on more confirmation. We are hesitating because stepping into obedience means being seen, being heard, building the thing, writing the message, making the offer, showing up in the marketplace, and trusting God with the outcome.
This is a call to stop hiding behind preparation and start stewarding what God has already placed in our hands.
If God gave us the message, the book, the business, the voice, the offer, or the assignment, then obedience does not end in the secret place. At some point, we have to come out of hiding and build.
In this episode, Nicole Scarboro joins me to overview my original teaching from Episode 148, "The Serpent Declared War on Her Voice First." We revisit the spiritual war against a woman's voice, how deception begins by twisting what God said, and why God restores women to speak truth, testify, and obey Him with boldness.
Are you truly ready for the Bridegroom, or are you assuming you will have time to get ready later?
In this episode, Heather Sudbrock takes you deep into the Parable of the Ten Virgins and asks the question many believers avoid: do you actually have oil, or are you trying to borrow readiness from someone else?
This conversation is about spiritual preparation, sanctification, and the cost of being ready when the Bridegroom comes. The wise virgins were not called wise because they had lamps. All ten had lamps. They were wise because they had enough oil. They had prepared before the moment of delay, before the midnight cry, before the door was shut.
Heather walks through the sobering difference between the wise and foolish virgins and what this parable reveals about half-hearted faith, delayed obedience, and the danger of assuming proximity to the Kingdom is the same as being prepared for it.
This episode will challenge you to examine whether your faith is casual, borrowed, emotional, or truly surrendered. It is a call to stop waiting until the last minute to seek God, stop living on the fumes of past encounters, and stop assuming you can prepare later for what God is calling you to obey now.
You will be invited to consider the cost of discipleship, the necessity of sanctification, and the eternal weight of the choices you are making in this life.
This is not a soft message. It is a warning, a call to readiness, and an invitation to return to total devotion before the door is shut.

In this episode, Heather interviews Marlena Hollis of Young Lions VA's about how Christian authors can use virtual assistants to scale their book sales, strengthen their backend support, and stop carrying every task alone.
Marlena explains how faith-based VA support can help authors and entrepreneurs delegate with clarity, protect their time, and create more space for the message they are called to steward. Together, Heather and Marlena discuss practical tasks authors can hand off, how to know when you are ready for support, and why delegation is often a necessary step in building a sustainable author business.
Listeners can also download Marlena's Young Lions VA Placement Readiness Kit, which includes a readiness quiz, task audit worksheet, and control and fear audit to help them decide what support they need next.
