Robert Hoste is a senior pig production economist at Wageningen Economic Research with over 30 years of experience in economic issues related to farm and sector levels. He has led projects focused on supply chain cooperation, international cost comparisons, and sustainable pig farming systems. Robert is an active member of InterPIG, the European Pig Producers, and the Dutch Council of Experts for sustainable husbandry systems.ย
