In the book of Proverbs, chapter one,  we discover the key to overcoming fear. We can live a secure life when we learn to hear and to listen to the voice of God.
God always wins.

Proverbs 1:
33 but whoever listens to me will live in safety
    and be at ease, without fear of harm.”

 Based on stamina and persistence we overcome the temptations to wander and quit. Through guidance, encouragement and fortitude from the Holy Spirit we are able to endure to the end when we meet Jesus face to face and hear those words, “Well done, my faithful servant.”
