How many times do we lack trust and belief in the promises of God and in His miracles?  
 Listen to the account of the Angel who goes to Mary to let her know she is expecting a child, and not just any child.  The Son of God, the Holy One, Jesus Christ.  She is scared and in disbelief.   
It's okay to doubt God, he doesn't mind.  However, when you lack trust and don't follow his calling on your life, only you suffer and feel rejected and less-than.  God never does that to you.  He loves you and he wants you to succeed.
The Scripture for today is Luke 1:22-38

With all of our struggles in life we must hold on to the hope that is found in Jesus Christ.  He is the way, the truth, the life.  When all seems to be going wrong, reach out to Him and you will find the support and love you need to get through anything. Prepare your souls for Christmas Day as we get ready to celebrate Jesus' birth.  
We recognize the First Sunday of Advent where churches all over the world light the Candle of Hope.   The Scripture is read from the Gospel of Luke, which includes the foretelling of the birth of John The Baptist.   Luke 1: 5-25

As we approach Thanksgiving Day in The USA, Pastor Robert Schuller reminds us that all God wants or needs from us is out "thanks offering." He owns the cattle on the hills and has the power to do what he wants with anything on the earth.  He wants us to care for the oceans, the earth, and the animals, and for every living thing.  He has also made us to rule over them and make decisions regarding everything he's created.  We need to be responsible and to care for and be kind to every living thing. 
The scripture reading is Psalm 50.

 This mornings message is from 2 Peter 3:1-10.  God is here now, he was here in the past, he is going to be here in the future.  He is the great I AM.  We look forward through the lens of our faith and our faith is founded upon the rock of our salvation.-Jesus Christ.   Jesus is victorious over all,  although, always in God's timing, and not our own.   We can't always understand why but we continue to look forward with faith.
