Robotics and Legal Tech Lead the Surge in Big Startup Funding

During the week of February 8 to February 14, 2025, several startups secured significant funding in various sectors. Austin-based Apptronik raised $350 million for robotic development, while San Francisco's Harvey secured $300 million for its legal tech tools. Boston's QuEra Computing obtained $230 million for its neutral-atom quantum computing technology. Abcuro, another Massachusetts firm, acquired $200 million for therapies targeting autoimmune diseases and cancer. Additionally, Chestnut Carbon in New York raised $160 million for climate initiatives, K2 Space received $110 million for satellite technology, and Eudia gathered $105 million for AI legal solutions. EnCharge AI raised over $100 million for AI chips, and Boston-based Newleos Therapeutics and Bambusa Therapeutics secured $94 million and $90 million, respectively, for biotech advancements. The largest international deal was Saudi Arabia's Tabby, which raised $160 million.
