Jason A. WHITE Apart from developing numerous feature-length screenplays, TV and Web series, he co-wrote the 2012 indie feature film Silver Case (which featured Eric Roberts and Seymour Cassel). Staffed on various sitcoms and a dramatic series including Emily’s Reasons Why Not, Twins, Committed, Kyle XY, Madigan Men (with Gabriel Byrne), The Downer Channel (with Wanda Sykes and produced by Steve Martin), he’s also worked on a number of pilots including Late Boomers (with Scott Bakula), The Lunchbox Chronicles (with Monica Potter and Andy Richter) and The Untitled Janeane Garofalo Pilot.
He has written web-content for ABC Family, punch-up comedy and wraparounds for the Discovery Channel’s The Christopher Lowell Show, advertising/copywriting campaigns for various film studios and television networks, including Sony Pictures, Universal Studios, and ABC Television. Along the way, he co-wrote the short The Conversation, shot an underground, no-budget music video for The Beards and did background work for the Coen Brothers on Hail, Caesar!.
HILARY BARRAFORD Born + bred in Boston, the quirky + whip-smart Hilary Barraford has always been a storyteller. From backyard plays to honing her voice at #1-ranked Williams College, entertaining has been her passion. After college, a life-changing experience with director Brad Silberling on Moonlight Mile (Dustin Hoffman, Susan Sarandon + Jake Gyllenhaal) cemented her love of acting + led her to Los Angeles. She soon landed a role on Emmy-nominated + Golden Globe-winning United States of Tara with Toni Collette, John Corbett + Brie Larson.
Her independent work got the attention of two-time Oscar-nominated director John Sayles (Lone Star, Eight Men Out), who tapped Hilary for Go For Sisters (Edward James Olmos, Mahershala Ali + Hector Elizondo) that premiered at SXSW in 2013 + was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award. John also pulled her in behind the camera—and a producer was born. Hilary executive produced + co-starred with Deanna Russo, Jeff Daniel Phillips + Lisa Ann Walter in independent film The Ice Cream Truck, hailed by Variety as an “eccentric horror opus.” Recently, Hilary appeared in the Lionsgate release Life Like (Drew Van Acker, Steven Strait + James D’Arcy) from Goldcrest/ Saboteur Films + producer Sunil Perkash (Salt, Enchanted). She also appears in the upcoming Equal Standard with Ice-T, Maurice Benard + Robert Clohessy. Her star turn in horror short Hot Dog garnered her two Best Actress awards—on top of 18 awards and 50+ festivals globally, including prestigious U.S. genre fest Beyond Fest.
