This is a part one because at some point I want to do a whole episode about speaking what we truly want out of life. This one is about how peoples words have affected me for my Birthday.

I just had my 40th birthday and my wife wanted to make it big. In our situation financially having a huge costly blowout would be very counter productive. WHat she did is have many people in my life write their thoughts and feelings about me and presented it as an amazing gift. It was phenomenal and I am going to share that here.

In this episode ?I talk about our human need to be a part of the conversation, to matter, to earn a seat at he table. These stories cover the bad ways we try and the real ways we succeed. It has been a long minute since I have been able to sit down and do a full episode. Inspired by events at Dragon Con I realized one of the main motivating factors in my life - I want a seat at the table. I will go through what that means to me, the weak and wrong ways I went about it, and how I got where I am today. All with some fun and gusto!

This week B.C. Dodge inspired me to tell my story of how I came to be involved with Dragon Con and why. It leads through one of the tenants of my life which is to chase your passion, and I believe will get us to stories of how when you truly do what you love then it all flows together for a happy life.The basic principle I am talking about today is "giving from love". As I wind my way from the ripe young age of 18 years old when I first heard about Dragon Con all the way to now when I get to influence strongly how the track runs.

Too many times in my life I have seen my wife want a great experience only to have it ruined by others. The ruination comes from a lack of communication and a lack of caring to communicate. We are constantly faced with choices in our daily lives and far too many times do we choose to stay silent. No more. I have lived most of my life poor. My childhood was spent beliw middle class, my young adult hood was spent in debt, and in 2013 I started a new path that set my income back. Yet in every situation I was taken care of and found a way to be greatful. Today I am going to talk about low income and minimume wage life and how you can still live like a rock star.

My wife loves to say the phrase “I Hate Change.” I have been thinking about that statement because it is far from true in many situations, but deadly true in others. Today I am going to explore why we need change and what all that means for our lives.

I am tasked with discussing the difference between working relationships vs personal relationships. This is never a black and white topic as you will see with my stories on my office interactions, my friendships, and how I want my business to run.
