This world wants to be your friend. The things in this world want you to love them and be OK with whatever they want. Yet we are called to love God. If we love this world and the things in it, we don't truly love God. This world will end and pass away, but God never will.

What is your most valuable possession? What one thing do you value the most? The most important thing we own should be the Bible. The Bible has treasures more valuable than gold. A vast vault of wisdom and knowledge. Understanding and a view into the heart of God. Giving us everything we need to live a life in godliness. What is your most valuable possession?

We are called to meditate on the Word of God. To think about it, let it dig deep into our hearts. To memorize scripture and ponder its meaning,using it in our everyday lives. It's one thing to know the Word. It's another thing to live it out....

We are a 3-legged stool in a family. God, parents, and children. If one is not lined up right, the stool will fall. Tonight, Pastor Jon preaches on foundations for families. That there are trails we all should have as believers. If we don't, things tend to fall apart.

We all go through and deal with stress and struggles. Paul faced far more than most of us. No matter what we go through in life, we must go through it with God. As the church, we must steadfastly stand together to help each other in love so we can do the same for others. Pastor Jon preaches out of Philippians a very encouraging word.

We all need personal time with God. Time in prayer, time reading, and studying the Bible. We all should have scheduled time with God every day. This morning, evangelist Tanner teaches on this very important subject.

We are called to keep ourselves in line, doing checkups on ourselves to make sure we are in accord with God. There are things happening in our world to distract and confuse us. Making it hard to think and focus on Jesus. Making us have a foggy mind. Yet we are to be sober and clear minded so we may be found worthy when Lord Jesus comes.

Scripture will interpret scripture. It is an everlasting message sent by God to us. We can never learn or understand the vastness of the word of God, but we should be found trying.

As christians, we are to live a lifestyle that honors God. Tonight, Pastor Jon comes out of the book of Titus teaching on some of the ways that we are to live as believers.

We all have relationships with everyone around us. From our family, coworkers, and people we live life with on a daily basis. We should use God's word to make the most of them.
