Rock Hill Church

The story of Esther is chaotic. From immorality to war, everything seemed out of control. But, even in the chaos, God is actively working behind the scenes. In Esther chapter 2 we discover 4 principles that can help us navigate the chaos of life.

God is not mentioned one time in the book of Esther. Sometimes that is how life feels. We are searching for God in the midst of our pain. We are searching for God in the middle of our situation. Even though we can't always see it, God is always working behind the scenes to accomplish His purpose. In this message, Pastor Matt teaches that wherever there is a vacancy in our lives, there is opportunity for God to bring victory in our lives.

We are constantly filtering massive amounts of information in life. We are trying to decipher what is true and what is not. How can we discover the truth about life and death? How can we know the truth about the afterlife? In this message, Pastor Matt talks about the truth from the tomb.

The cross of Jesus Christ is the very center of human history. All of the Old Testament is working up to it, and all of the New Testament is flowing out from it. In this message from Luke 23, Pastor Matt teaches on three realities of the cross. Because of the cross, we can experience the forgiveness of Jesus. Because of the cross, we can express faith in Jesus. And because of the cross, we can expect a future with Jesus!

Who is your King? That is the question Pilate was forced to answer over 2,000 years ago and it is still the question we must answer today. In this message from John 19, Pastor Matt teaches on the place called Gabbatha. From this place, we learn four choices every follower of Jesus must make.

Life is full of surprises. Sometimes they are good, sometimes they are bad. But, it is encouraging to know that nothing takes God by surprises. There is nothing that catches Jesus off guard. He is always aware. He is always active. He is completely omniscient. In this message, we look at Jesus' time spent in the garden of Gethsemane and learn four powerful truths about Jesus.

What is really going to matter in all of eternity? As Christians we are called to function in the present, but focus on our future. In this message from 2 Corinthians 9, Pastor Matt gives 5 ways we can live beyond the now.

How would you rate your passion for the things of God? In 2 Corinthians 8, the Apostle Paul introduces the church at Corinth to three very important messengers. These messengers shared one major and primary characteristic: passion. In this message, Pastor Matt asks four questions to gauge our level of passion for the things of God.

There is a difference between being interested in generosity, and being invested in generosity. In this first message from our Multiply series, Pastor Matt preaches on the five foundational facts of generosity found in 2 Corinthians 8.

In this final message from our series, "Your Future Family", we are talking all about conflict. What the Bible teaches in James is that the conflict that is taking place around us, is really happening within us. It is not a matter of if we experience conflict, but how to biblically resolve conflict when it arrives.
