Hello and welcome to this edition of rock music memories as I continue the celebration of all that is Elvis... It is without a single doubt that without the appearance of Elvis in the 1950's, popular music as we now know it would not have been, he was the origin of popular music... He alone opened the door that aloud others to pass through and in doing so brought us the cornucopia of fabulous music, bands & artists that as youngsters we listened to through the following decades... He inspired a multitude of aspiring young men to boldly go where no youngster had gone before, into the world of rock and in turn made it their own...
