Thank you for joining us! We are so glad you are worshipping with us online! This week we are starting a new series called "The Stories You Heard Wrong." In today's sermon we are looking at the story of Samson. 

Every Church needs to be a home. A healthy home is a place of love, safety and stability.  People need a home.  A sense of belonging.  When we plant churches we are creating a home for the Hurting, the Broken, the Lost and the Forgotten.

We plant churches because we find in Acts that it's God's strategy to reach the lost.  As He pours out His Spirit, believers were empowered to tell people about Jesus!  As believers were added daily, they planted churches and their entire region was transformed with love of Jesus!

The parents and leaders of the day loved God, yet failed to pass down their spiritual heritage. When we as parents pass down our stories of God's faithfulness it communicates to our children what God did for us God will do for them.

We study God's word because it brings truth to a confused world. 

Pastor Andrew Pitts continues our series "Why do we worship?"  Worship Changes us!  Worship is the chief goal of man.  We were made to know and love God and we do that when we worship Him, not just Sundays, but all week long. 

We look at Gideon's story today and how God redefined him.  Do I view myself the way God sees me?  Do I view others the way God does?  Who am I agreeing with?  That's the question of worship.  Does the way I'm acting toward my spouse bring worship and glory to the name of Jesus?  Does the way I'm thinking and acting towards my boss bring glory to the name of Jesus?  Do I see them how God does?  Am I agreeing with GOD regarding my spouse, my boss, neighbor....? Or am I agreeing with the enemy?
