It's Victory at Sea day! (technically 12/18)  But, this is the day that Jeff has brought me my very favorite version of the beer, Barrel Aged Victory At Sea.

It's purple!  Leave it to the crew at the OG Home Brewmart to come up with the concept of making a Ube purple Hazy IPA!

Ohh help me, Jeff brought me a pepper beer.  Normally I'd be afraid, but honestly this Serrano Kolsch not something be scared of.

Reunited and it feels so good!  I get to hang out with one of my favorite local beer people for the firs time since COVID lockdowns.  Jeff from Ballast Point is starting us off with something light for a Monday, something the bridges the gap between a Vienna Lager and a Mexican Lager.

He knows if you've been bad or good, so be good and maybe you can be his little helper.  Port Brewing's Santa's Little helper is as O.G. a San Diego Holiday beer as it comes.  Unchanged by the decades this big 10% ABV Imperial Stout sings with flavors of dark Cocoa and roasted coffee.

Here is a big boozy Christmas Belgian!  One of the first beers I was introduced to when I started to get into craft beer, it's a favorite to pick up every year.

Tonight we travel to Belgium for a 9.8% abv Belgian strong ale that sings "it's Christmas Time" 

Today we kick off a weeks worth of Christmas beers you should be able to find at your local liquor store or bottle shop.  First beer up, one of the OG holiday IPAs Sierra Nevada Celebration. 

A Melograno canned cocktail that comes full circle to it's fermented agave roots, Melon Margarita. 

Be prepared to be amazed at the flavors Melograno brings to this Orange Blossom Martini.  Not the citrus crush that you might expect, this cocktail in a can has a distinctive floral note from the orange blossom that will keep your palate coming back for more.
